The extension of something special:

For the lovers of the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, it’s time to buckle your seatbelts because Chevy has something even bigger (literally) in store for you. The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado is expected to drop on roads this fall, with their ZR2 package finally allowing an ultimate off-road experience as well.

The success of the Colorado ZR2 and The Trail Boss has been a part of an exciting run for Chevrolet trucks, who are obviously only looking to exceed previous heights. There’s still more to learn about the new Silverado’s engine and how much it will look to compete from a power perspective, but similar to the Colorado, expect better frame builds, lift, and rock sliders that stand alone.

As a JD Power detailed in 2020 article:

“Based on the Colorado’s modifications, you can expect a Silverado ZR2 to get the same 2-inch suspension lift bestowed upon the existing Trail Boss edition, plus electronic locking front and rear differentials, Multimatic Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve (DSSV) shocks, and all manner of skid-plating and rock-railing combined with a reworked front end that improves the truck’s approach angle. A wider track might also make the cut, and perhaps a Bison upgrade option similar to the Colorado.”

A flexible tailgate design, and long awaited interior upgrades are also expected to be a part of Chevy’s 22 Silverado debut. Why put yourself next to the same old off-road experiences when you can be a part of history just by searching for a “Chevy Dealer near me”?

Why pay more towards other brands, when Chevrolet is unleashing a refreshed new truck that will not only bring performance, but attraction, entertainment, and more than likely money saved in your bank account. That’s all if some predictions of an MSRP under $60’000 is anywhere close to being proven true.Be sure to give Chevy’s Silverado ZR2 introduction a look this fall at a “Chevrolet near me”.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss goes Duramax DIESEL:

Nobody likes to be left out of the party for long. After past model years making customers choose from standard 5.3 Liter V8’s or 6.2’s, the 2022 Silverado Trailboss will arrive with a 3.0L turbo diesel option!

Sounds strong doesn’t it?

Ever since its inception in 2016, Chevolet’s Trail Boss speciality has been a fan favorite across the truck landscape. They just were missing one large element, and according to motortrend.com, General Motors and Chevrolet were ready to answer a long requested bell:

“Credit ‘popular demand’” for this one, as combining diesel with the popular four-wheel-drive “’Trail Boss’” off-road rig has long been requested for Chevy’s half-ton rig 1500 (the little Duramax has been available for its sibling, GMC’s Sierra 1500 AT4).
Trail Boss contents include a suspension lift (two inches), tuned shocks, a G80 locking differential, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, skid plates, red tow hooks and other unique styling treatments.”

The “3.0L LM2 Duramax” adds another important addition to the Chevrolet family. And with the diesel debut expecting the best fuel economy value in the industry, the Silverado 1500 LTD Trail Boss should truly stand out in the 2022 model year. If you can save money with a purchase, look fresh, while still getting the best bang for your buck on fuel, why would you truly consider anything else?

As musclecarsandtrucks.com noted in a late July article:

“While the performance figures for the new Duramax powered Silverado are good, it’s the fuel economy that really stands out. Chevrolet says that a rear drive 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the diesel will get 33 MPG highway and 23 MPG in the city. Opt for the four wheel drive, and the highway efficiency drops to 29 MPG, respectfully. This is the highest fuel economy rating for the highway that we’ve seen in a half-ton pickup truck.”

One can only suggest to look into the 2022 LTD Trail Boss a look when you’re googling “Chevy Financing offers”, or “Chevrolet lease deals near me” and are in the market for a new pickup truck.
